Season 2011/201221 October 2011 To Late May 2012Marri Lodge is on the town boundary 3km south east of Margaret River. The property is 1.6 km along Rosa Brook Road off Bussell Highway -- See Location Map The Lodge and Cottages are surrounded by tranquil country gardens with roses, seasonal flowers, extensive lawns and native shrubs. A large water feature, grazing cows and towering Marri gum trees (Eucalyptus calophylla-beautiful leaf) add to this rural scene. See wild kangaroos and abundant birdlife on our 110 acre farm.
We are centrally located for visiting the Margaret River Region with its famous wineries, caves, restaurants, surfing beaches, Karri forests, whale sighting and the tallest lighthouse at Augusta. Most venues, north and south, are less than 30 minutes drive away and Wine Tour operators pick up from Marri Lodge. Supermarkets, banks, boutiques, takeaways and restaurants are 4 minutes by car in the main street of Margaret River. We have an adjoining vineyard and horse trail riding, Ten Mile Brook Dam with picnic site, forest & river walk trails are nearby. Brown Hill, Leeuwin, Voyager, Xanadu and Watershed wineries are also nearby. Marri Lodge appeals to couples and families seeking a rural experience close to Margaret River. John offers comfortable, well maintained "self-catering" cottages and motel/hotel style rooms in a tranquil rural setting very close to town. He says he aims to offer value for money accommodation for travellers on a budget and comparable with Travel Guide recommendations by Jetlag, Reise Know-How, Lonely Planet, etc.
 John worked as an accountant in the resources field both overseas and in Australia until the age of 50. He then involved himself in the design and building of Marri Lodge. John and his partner Lynne live on the premises. And why not ??? Many guests say its idyllic! He says over the years friendly interesting visitors have spurred him to continue operating. John enjoys holidays in France drinking fine wine. John apologizes should your dates not be available due to his absence on holidays.

Check in: after 2:30pm Check out: by 10am Smoking is not permitted indoors. A light breakfast by request $25 double. Cook your own meals, use the BBQ or dine at a restaurant in town or lunch at a winery. Peak** 2-4 night bookings for long weekends,Christmas and New Year, and special events like the Leeuwin Concert.
